For Python, I simply ran
brew install python3
As Python finished, I got a message that “Distribute has been installed, so easy_install is available.”

I get unfriendly error messages:

After googling to no real obvious answer, I simply ran
sudo easy_install pip
Then for distribute & Regetron, it was the same thing (I had to use sudo).
sudo pip install distribute works. I tried to run
pip install regetron, but I had to use
sudo pip install regetron instead.
